From naira to your first tap, step by step

You do not need to own any crypto to try Tap Trading. With a Nigerian bank account and a phone, this is the whole journey from naira to your first tap, and back to naira.

  1. ₦Your bankNaira transfer
  2. NGNKoinKoin walletNaira arrives
  3. USDTBuy USDTAt the live rate
  4. TAPSydeTrade from your balance
  5. ₦Your bankSell USDT, withdraw

Before your first tap

  1. Create your KoinKoin account

Sign up free at koinkoin.io or in the KoinKoin app for iPhone and Android. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your ID and your BVN. It matters in step 3.

You will be asked to protect the account with an authenticator app. Do it straight away. It is what keeps other people out.

  2. Verify your identity

It takes about three minutes with a government photo ID and a selfie.

  3. Add naira

Go to Wallet, then Fiat, then NGN. Enter your BVN once and KoinKoin opens a bank account number in your own name. Send naira to it from your banking app, the same way you would pay anyone else.

If you do not know your BVN, dial *565*0# on the phone line linked to your bank.

  4. Change naira to USDT

Syde trades in USDT, a digital dollar. On the same NGN screen, tap Deposit / Buy USDT and choose to buy USDT with your naira balance. You see the live rate before you confirm.

Your first session

  1. Open Syde

Tap the Syde icon on the app’s home screen, or go to koinkoin.io/syde. Your USDT balance is already there. There is nothing to move across.

  2. Watch first, then tap small

Let a few boxes play out before you touch anything. See how quickly the price moves and how often it slips out of a box. When you do tap, use a small stake and start with boxes near the price.

  3. Take your money home

When you leave Syde, whatever was in play returns to your KoinKoin USDT balance. Keep it there, or sell USDT for naira and withdraw to a bank account in your own name.

How much should you start with?

That is your decision, and nobody should make it for you. The honest rule is the one in our risk warning: only what you can afford to lose. A tap that does not win loses its whole stake, so the amount you bring to Syde should be an amount you would be fine never seeing again.

See it move

Syde markets for your side action. Open the live chart, watch a few boxes play out, and tap when you are ready.

18+ only. High risk: you can lose every stake you place.
